We have started  a new chapter for the blind in the Sacramento area. At the time, there was no active chapter of any Veterans group here. We have a large number of blind Vets here  in the Sacramento  area. We are up to 20 members now and we want to set up local employment bulletins State, City, and County. We have all of the forms of V.A.  programs plus all of the needed applications from other State Agencies. This includes DMV plates, Leap Program from the Department of Rehabilitation to free passes to State Parks, fishing license from Department of Fish and Game and others. We will have speakers at each meeting concerning Benefits, Vocational Rehabilitation and medical from the Veterans Administration and more.  The following numbers below are open 24 hours a day including fax. 916 879 2589   Fax 376-0742
